Report Card for Grades 1 and 2
Princeton Charter School's quarterly report cards and interim reports (half-way through the quarter) were designed to meet the PCS Charter’s promise of “timely and complete communication with parents about their child's progress.”.
Although these report cards take a little more time than a simple check-list report card, the school community, students, teachers, and parents, benefit from gaining a more complete picture of a student’s progress.
Each student is given one of the following indicators for each of the areas below:
4 - above grade level
3 - meets grade level standards
2 - approaching grade level
1 - below grade level
NA - Not Applicable

Phonemic Awareness
Decodes grade-appropriate text
Reads familiar text with accuracy and fluency
Applies Sound/symbol relationships
Adjusts intonation to convey meaning, and attends to punctuation
Reading and Writing:
